Bitcoin has risen about 640% since Warren Buffett called it 'rat poison squared' on May 5, 2018, when it traded at around $9,697. Now at $71,700, it has outperformed Berkshire Hathaway shares (up 150%) and even Apple's 500% gain over the same period. Buffett continues to criticize Bitcoin for lacking intrinsic value.
