Circle is launching Arc, a layer-1 blockchain designed from the ground up to resist quantum computer attacks that could threaten wallets, transactions, and smart contracts. It supports post-quantum signatures at launch, EVM compatibility, and protections against 'harvest now, decrypt later' risks, targeting institutional users without requiring forced migrations. The network extends quantum resistance to its full infrastructure, including validators.
