The AAVE token fell to a nearly two-year low of $86.15 after Chaos Labs announced it is stepping down as one of Aave DAO's two risk managers, due to key staff departures, expanded risks from Aave V4 launch, and operational losses. Chaos Labs rejected an offer to nearly double its annual fee to $5 million. LlamaRisk will now act as the sole risk manager, coordinating with Aave Labs for a seamless transition.
