Demand for Crypto Pay Surges, but Payroll Systems Fall Behind: Research

A survey of 1,004 workers shows 43% are interested in receiving part of their paycheck in crypto, rising to 57% among crypto owners, though only 7% of employers offer it. Bitcoin is the top choice at 46%, with Gen Z leading interest at 46%, and 32% would opt in immediately if available. Additionally, 20% have already received crypto payments for work, mainly side hustles, reporting high satisfaction.
