Departamento de Justiça de Trump rejeita defesa de desenvolvedor do Tornado Cash

The U.S. Department of Justice rejected Roman Storm's latest motion to dismiss his criminal case, arguing it is unaffected by a recent Supreme Court decision on ISP liability for user actions. Storm, developer of the Ethereum-based Tornado Cash mixer, was convicted last year of operating an illegal money transmitter and now faces a retrial on money laundering conspiracy and sanctions evasion charges. Prosecutors contend that Storm knew of criminal misuse of the tool and failed to intervene, unlike the ISP in the cited case.
