Quebrar o Bitcoin com computação quântica exigiria energia de uma estrela, diz pesquisa
By Fernando Martines
Research from Pierre-Luc Dallaire-Demers and BTQ Technologies concludes that disrupting Bitcoin mining with a quantum computer using Grover's algorithm would require energy equivalent to a small star, around 10^25 watts and 10^23 qubits. This is vastly more than the current Bitcoin network's 15 gigawatts, and the attack must fit within the 10-minute block time, making it practically impossible. The threat remains theoretical due to current hardware limitations.
