US SEC Proposes Own Crypto Fundraising Rules Apart from Exemption in CLARITY Act

US SEC Chair Paul Atkins announced that the commission is advancing its own crypto fundraising rules through administrative rulemaking. These rules will operate in parallel with the proposed capital raising exemption in the Senate’s version of the CLARITY Act. The initiative was discussed at Vanderbilt University and the Blockchain Association’s inaugural Digital event.
