Bank of Korea calls for stock-style circuit breakers on BTC exchanges

The Bank of Korea has called for implementing stock-market style circuit breakers on Bitcoin exchanges to manage extreme volatility. This measure aims to pause trading during sharp price swings, similar to traditional stock markets. However, crypto's 24/7 global trading across hundreds of venues makes it difficult for any single country to effectively halt the market.
