Colombia's Constitutional Court ruled President Gustavo Petro's economic emergency decree unconstitutional, ending a 13-month effort to impose VAT on the online gambling sector through executive action. The government must now pursue congressional approval for any future gambling tax. This decision comes less than seven weeks before the presidential election.
