Crypto-native perpetual markets for real-world assets (RWAs) are rapidly gaining traction against traditional futures markets. Binance Research reports that RWA perps' market share surged from 0.2% to 4.9% in 90 days, with sharp growth in trading volumes for metals like gold (3.6% of COMEX) and silver (13.6%), equities, and energy.
