The U.S. Department of Justice has announced a compensation process for victims of the $4 billion OneCoin cryptocurrency scam, which defrauded investors through a global multi-level marketing scheme from 2014 to 2019. Victims can file claims for a share of over $40 million in seized assets via onecoinremission.com until June 30. Co-founder Karl Sebastian Greenwood was sentenced to 20 years in prison, while Ruja Ignatova remains a fugitive with a $5 million reward.
