“Não pagaremos esses criminosos”: Kraken está sendo extorquida por dados roubados

Kraken revealed that a criminal group is extorting the exchange by threatening to release videos of internal systems displaying customer data unless demands are met. Security director Nick Percoco stated the company will not pay the criminals and is working with federal authorities across jurisdictions to pursue the perpetrators. No customer funds were at risk, internal systems were not breached, and approximately 2,000 potentially affected users have been notified.
