Strategy acquired 13,927 Bitcoin for approximately $1 billion at an average price of $71,902 per coin, boosting its total holdings to 780,897 BTC, according to an SEC Form 8-K filing. The purchase was funded entirely by proceeds from selling over 10 million shares of its Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock (STRC), generating $1.001 billion. The company retains significant capacity for further buys, with over $21.6 billion available under STRC and $27.1 billion under its MSTR program.
