Tether, the world's largest stablecoin issuer, launched tether.wallet on April 14, 2026, providing self-custodial access to USDT, XAUT, and Bitcoin for its 570 million users. The app features human-readable addresses and eliminates the need for gas tokens. It is built on Tether's existing global financial infrastructure.
